Sean Dyche became a cult figure in English football by keeping Burnley in the Premier League against all odds. With minimal budgets, relentless organisation, and his trademark two-striker system, Dyche's Burnley earned respect for being tough, disciplined, and hard to beat. Your task: relive the Dycheball era and make Burnley a permanent member of the top flight.
Objectives
- Season 1: Avoid relegation and finish outside the bottom 3
- By Season 2: Establish Burnley as a mid-table team (12th–14th acceptable)
- By Season 3: Achieve a top-half finish (10th or higher)
- By Season 5: Qualify for European competition (Conference League or higher)
- Across the save: Build a squad identity around British/Irish players and Dycheball tactics
Restrictions
- Must always use a system with 2 strikers up front (4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1)
- Style of play: direct football, high work rate, physical approach
- Minimum of 8 British/Irish players in the squad at all times
- Maximum transfer spend: £25M per season in the first 3 years
- At least one "target man" type striker must start every season
